For many years I've been helping clients improve
their productivity through the use of Microsoft's Office suite. I have
often found that I can provide solutions that the client was unaware
was possible.
Solutions may simply involve the development of a standard Excel
spreadsheet but can encompass full inter-office application
automation.
I have many years experience in automating Microsoft Office
applications through the use of Visual Basic for Applications.
Primarily concentrating on MS Excel, MS Word and MS Access (see
'Database Solutions' below), I can troubleshoot your existing
applications or develop completely new ones to meet your requirements.
Database Solutions...
I specialise in MS Access Database design and integration with
the Internet/intranets. I can deliver bespoke
solutions or troubleshoot an existing database and with many years
experience presenting MS Access training courses I can ensure that your
staff have all the knowledge they need for efficient use of Microsoft's
powerful desktop database software.
I have many years experience in the design and
development of bespoke MS Access databases. Many of which have involved
either the integration with other MS Office components or installation
on a Web Server to provide dynamic internet/intranet web sites using
Active Server Pages.
That's not all. Once a system is delivered, I can offer
full training in its use for all your staff. In addition, I am able to
offer training to those members of staff who need to build databases
from scratch - in my experience this is very necessary as it's
extremely easy to create a database in MS Access but much more
difficult to do it correctly.
I can remotely deliver your MS Access solution without
having to constantly visit your site. This will free you up to
concentrate on your core business. Simply confirm your requirements via
email and I'll carry out the work to our agreed specification.
As every requirement is different, I have very few 'off
the shelf' database applications (the exception to this is 'TaskMaster' - a
conveyancing management tool aimed at solicitors and estate agents). As
no two customers are the same, I do not try to re-use work or tweak it
in some way to fit your requirements. By building from scratch, I can
ensure that the system you are paying for exactly matches you needs.
