I can, in full consultation with you, design, construct and
maintain your company website for you. Based on a comprehensive
specification drawn up in partnership with you, I will build a website
aimed at giving you world wide exposure for your company via the
Internet.
This has to be the cheapest and most effective mechanism for
mass advertising there is. There are numerous accounts of firms, large
and small, realising a significant increase in profits after
establishing a presence on the web. Whilst I cannot guarantee that you
will see a similar increase in revenue, I can, in partnership with you,
ensure that the means of attracting more business via the Internet is
there by producing and maintaining your website.
Once the site has been designed and tested, I will post
it to your ISP if you already have one. If not, I can handle the
setting up of an ISP account on your behalf. As part of the service,
your site will also be logged with all the main search engines,
ensuring that people who need to find it can do so. Once the site is
live, I can also provide a maintenance service, whereby I will update
pages as and when required as well as provide reports giving you
statistical data on the popularity of the site.
Website Design Philosophy
I design websites for clients that are fast and efficient,
getting to the point quickly so that visitors can find the information
about your products without waiting for excessive downloads and so on.
Consequently, I do not incorporate multimedia content such as Flash,
video or music. In my view, unless the sole purpose of your website is
to entertain rather than inform, then such content is merely eye candy
and superfluous. Worse, it can lead to the visitor (and potential
customer) going elsewhere.
